May Day: 1st May, The Esplanade Fremantle. May Day is organised by Unions WA, it begins with a March at 12pm throughout Fremantle.

May Day traditionally recognises the achievements of working people in ensuring fair standards for work. This year the AMWU will be using May Day to continue to highlight the Local Content issue and to build on the WA Jobs from WA Resources campaign

Come along and be part of a large AMWU contingent celebrating its victories and campaigning for better pay and conditions.

The AMWU will again march as part of the Solidarity Unions to show the strength and importance of unions working together.

Solidarity Unions will supply food, drinks and activities for families and children for affiliated members.
