The AMWU has sent out letters to those people who are named as respondents by Employers from Pluto LNG.

The AMWU has sent letters to our members asking if they want to be represented by Gibson and Gibson Lawyers. The letter advises members to complete an Authority to Act if they wish to be represented by Gibson and Gibson.

A reminder notice was also sent out two weeks prior to a directions hearing. If you have not returned the forms please do so as soon as possible.

Gibson and Gibson filed appearances for those people who had been properly served by the applicants and who they have received instructions for. 

At the last directions hearing it was determined that a large number of respondents had not been properly served and until they had, then constructing the process for mediation would be premature. 

Another directions hearing is scheduled for 28 May @ 10.15 am.
